Westfield Medical's steam sterilization autoclave tape is printed onto a robust crepe paper base which is coated with a high tack adhesive.
The tape is primarily intended for use with flexible sterile barrier systems such as wraps, drapes & plain closure bags. Although it will also adhere strongly to other surfaces such as linen.
The tape is available in two standard widths of 19mm and 25mm and is supplied on standard 76mm cores to allow it's use on all commonly available tape dispenser systems.
The tape conforms in all respects with BS7893:1997 Specificiation for pressure sensitive adhesive closing and sealing tapes for use with sterilization packaging materials. Certification
In addition the indicator ink used on the tape is also in full compliance with BS EN 867-2 and ISO 11140-1 for use as a Class A chemical indicator.
The tapes are manufactured under BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Systems.
Westfield Medical are also able to offer the same tape without the indicator as a plain masking tape.
This tape shares the same strong base paper and high tack adhesive system and will work equally effectively on the same substrates
